RQ: Are there enough jobs in Newtown?

Methods: SurveyMonkey

Findings:

• If you don’t have a or degree then it will be harder to get a job.
• Its harder to swap jobs in Newtown.
• We have found out that some jobs will need an interview and some you can walk in!
• The internet has taken over from the job centre.
• Less people than expected want to start their own business

Outcomes/Impact:

An impact meeting was held in the Newtown Family Resource Centre.  Members of the town council attended as well as the Mayor of Newtown. Copies of findings sent to Town Council members and to the Job Centre. Job Centre and Town Council promised to share the findings with their colleagues.
