Learning about the Law

The Children’s Legal Centre aims to raise awareness of children’s rights and the laws that affect children and young people. We do this in a variety of ways;

Child or young person?

  • The Children’s Legal Centre website is a great way to learn about the law. The how the law affects me section provides extensive amounts of information but please let us know if we haven’t covered something you are looking for at FAQ’s.
  • Street Law is a free legal education programme delivered to schools and community groups by university students. It empowers people by informing them about the law, legal systems and human rights through the delivery of fun and interactive sessions. To find out more or book a session please visit the webpage.

  • The Children’s Legal Centre hosts events and training days.
  • The Children’s Legal Centre can provide tailored training for your organisations needs. To discuss commissioning training please contact childrenslegalcentre@swansea.ac.uk
