This research examines the rights engaged for children in airport security – in particular focusing on the role of private sector actors, and any processes that airports may have to relieve the stress that children may feel at these airports. The research includes a survey carried out with parents/carers to gauge their experiences of submitting to security checks with young children, which was implemented via an online survey.
