Selected Research Question: How can we solve the problem of litter in our town?
Methods: site visits; photovoice (video); questionnaire
Findings: 78% thought litter a problem in Wrexham; 94% had seen people dropping litter; worst areas included parks, town centre and car parks.
Outcomes: Meeting with community councillors, their Assembly Member and MP. Shared results with school. The group then felt the project had gone as far as it could and that no more could be done, as it involved changing the attitudes of too many people. Training in methods delivered to school staff at request of head teacher.
